Why isn’t my pivot table automatically refreshing?

Problem:

You are using Nintex Drawloop to generate an excel spreadsheet that contains a pivot table. All the data looks correct besides the pivot table which does not appear to refresh.

Solution:

Update the pivot table settings to automatically refresh the pivot table when the excel spreadsheet is opened.

1. Open your excel template.
2. Right click on the pivot table and select ‘Pivot Table Options’.
3. Click on the ‘Data’ tab.
4. Check-mark the Refresh data when opening the file checkbox.
